About us: We are a 719-bed, level one trauma center. As the principal teaching hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, as well as expertise in cancer, cardiology, emergency medicine, neurosciences, orthopedics and more. Brown University Health has a growing network of over 850 providers and offers a multitude of services that encompass medical areas such as primary care, psychiatry and behavioral health, women's medicine, urgent care, and specialty services including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and ophthalmology.
