Position Overview
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE physiatrist for an outpatient position with unlimited potential for growth. The ideal candidate will be proficient in electrodiagnostic medicine as well as skilled in musculoskeletal medicine, including ultrasound guided peripheral interventions. Academic rank and track will be commensurate with academic record and experience. The benefits package includes retirement, medical and dental plans, malpractice, and conference and vacation.
Department/Division Overview Outpatient services are provided at our West campus Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care Center and our Comprehensive Spine Center located at East and Dublin. The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department is ranked #1 in Columbus and #37 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
Duties and Responsibilities Faculty responsibilities are consistent with our tripartite mission – patient care, education, and clinical research.
Key duties include:
Perform electrodiagnostic (EMG) procedures.
Provide comprehensive evaluations of patients with musculoskeletal complaints.
Contribute to training, research, and other scholarly pursuits.
Represent the program or department on committees, conferences, and professional meetings.
Practice within the established Medical Center standards and protocols.
Requirements
MD or DO
Successful completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R
Preferred: EMG Board Eligible and/or Certified
Eligible for an Ohio medical license
