Job Description A civilian nephrologist is needed to support the
Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center
on a part‑time basis.
Responsibilities
One half‑day on Thursday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Provide on‑call coverage as needed, according to a monthly schedule that lists required coverage for each day of the month
Be available for phone consultations with VA residents and physicians at all times
Respond to on‑call calls within 15 minutes by phone and onsite within 60 minutes
Qualifications
Board‑eligible or board‑certified by the American Board of Endocrinology (ABEM) or American Board of Osteopathic Endocrinology (ABOEM)
At least 2 years of post‑residency experience
Valid medical license in any U.S. state
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
DEA certification
