Interventional Cardiologist – AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology, Winter Garden
AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and energetic Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing practice located in Winter Garden, Florida in Q4 of 2026. The physician will help start a PCI program at AdventHealth Winter Garden and provide coverage primarily there, with ability to complete cases at AdventHealth Apopka while building the PCI program at Winter Garden.
Overview This practice is affiliated with the AdventHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute, one of the busiest centers of its kind in the nation. We are a leading provider of cardiovascular and thoracic services among Medicare patients with national rankings: #1 in Cardiology volume, #1 in Vascular Surgery volume, #5 in Thoracic Surgery volume and #8 in Open Heart Surgery volume. The AdventHealth CVI is centered in a tertiary facility known as AdventHealth Orlando with a newly opened Ginsburg Tower. This 15‑story sanctuary of healing offers patients a full range of comprehensive heart and vascular care, including 12 hybrid operating rooms housing electrophysiology, vascular and invasive cardiology.
Responsibilities Inpatient and outpatient care, in addition to group call coverage at times.
Requirements for the position
Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and board certification/eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Practice Description This opportunity includes benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403(b) retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance.
Hospital Description AdventHealth Winter Garden, a part of AdventHealth Orlando, opened in 2016 as a state‑of‑the‑art emergency facility featuring board‑certified physicians trained in the care of both adults and children. AdventHealth Winter Garden opened its new inpatient tower in May 2022, a $229.5 million expansion which brings critical services to the fast‑growing West Orange community. The new tower provides 80 private rooms and space for new services, including orthopedics, advanced gynecology, cardiology, gastroenterology, general and robotic surgery, neurology, spine health, colorectal and urology.
