Hospitalist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
opportunity in Plano, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of inpatient populations.
Position Details:
Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow‑up visits
Initiate appropriate treatment and diagnostic testing for medical conditions
Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
Round on rehabilitation patients, including long‑term acute care patients
Document in the EMR system
Participate in continuous quality improvement processes
If You:
Enjoy working daytime hours:
7 AM – 7 PM | 7 ON / 7 OFF
Possess strong active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, communication, time management, judgment, and decision‑making skills
Are
Texas licensed
as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Hold
ACLS certification
Meet experience preferences:
PA:
1–2 years of ICU/CVICU experience strongly preferred
NP:
2 years of NP or RN ICU/CVICU experience required
