Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois , in partnership with Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group , is currently seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologists to join our expanding cardiovascular team. This is a full‑time opportunity to work within a leading, innovative cardiovascular program committed to delivering exceptional care in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Position Details

Full‑time positions available in Interventional and General Cardiology

Employed by Prime Illinois Medical Group

Inpatient only

Day Shift Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm

2 STEMI calls/month — required to be onsite

Procedures: Cath Lab, Stents, Balloon pumps

1/2 NP support

EMR: Epic

Collaborative, multidisciplinary team with strong physician support

State‑of‑the‑art cardiac facilities with full imaging, catheterization, and surgical support

Qualifications

Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Interventional Cardiology

Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois

Commitment to clinical excellence and evidence‑based cardiovascular care

Strong communication and collaboration skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is 500,000‑625,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
