Job Description
Performs quality sleep recordings by collecting, analyzing, and integrating pertinent patient history information, preparing the patient, conducting the examination, and preparing the recording for physician interpretation.
Implements appropriate interventions for patient safety and therapeutic needs, including continuous and/or bi-level positive airway pressure (PAP) and Oxygen administration.
Informs the nursing supervisor and/or physician of changes in the patient’s condition or abnormalities on the recording when necessary.
Maintains supplies and equipment for patient care and ensures an orderly and efficient system for storage and retrieval of patient information.
Provides patient education according to established guidelines.
Qualification Requirements The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equ (Required) Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $24.01 - $44.65
