Attending Medical Oncologist specializing in Genitourinary (GU) Malignancies
to join our dynamic oncology team.
This opportunity offers a unique and rewarding career in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment committed to clinical excellence, research innovation, and educational advancement. Working closely with the Rutgers Cancer Institute and the RWJBarnabas-Rutgers Medical Group, the ideal candidate will contribute to GU oncology care while supporting broader oncology services. This role will support the Northern and Central regions, splitting time between Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and The Rutgers Cancer Institute in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality clinical care to oncology patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Provide oversight at local Infusion Centers and collaborate on patient navigation across RWJBarnabas and Rutgers Cancer Institute locations
Focus clinical efforts on genitourinary malignancies with involvement in additional solid tumor cases as required
Participate in clinical research and clinical trials supported by the Rutgers Cancer Institute Network
Contribute to medical education through teaching of students, residents, and fellows
Engage in tumor boards, departmental committees, outreach education, and clinical documentation initiatives
Qualifications
Board certified/eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
Fellowship trained with interest or experience in genitourinary cancers NJ licensed or eligible for licensure Passion for patient-centered care and commitment to advancing oncology services in underserved communities

$4,000 annual CME/professional development stipend
Fellowship stipend program: Up to $24,000 for qualifying final-year fellows!
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $350,000 to $500,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience
