The Gastroenterology role:
Skills required:
Upper GI Endoscopy
Esophageal distribution/manometry
Esophageal manometry interpretation
Small Bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy
Colonoscopy
Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Inpatient adult only
- Call 6p-8a
- EMR: EPIC
- Average night call back is 1-3 times per week.
Requirements:
- OK state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC
- Board certified/Board eligible in Gastroenterology
- DEA
- ACLS, BLS
