Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Join our dynamic team in Christiansburg, Virginia, where we are looking for a Locum Nurse Practitioner with experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health. This facility is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics. Our Urgent Care clinic also integrates Occupational Health services, ensuring comprehensive care for our community.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide episodic care and injury treatment to patients of various age groups.
- Work autonomously with the support of a supervising physician available via phone.
- Document patient interactions using the Anthem EMR system.
- Assess and manage a variety of urgent healthcare needs.
- Board Certified by ANCC or AANP (REQUIRED).
- Active Virginia license (REQUIRED).
- BLS certification (REQUIRED).
- Local providers preferred (REQUIRED).
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 36 hours (3x12 shifts) per week, including rotating weekends (REQUIRED).
