Locums - NP/PA Pediatric Critical Care Opportunity - Dallas/Plano, Texas

Step into a high-impact, team-oriented pediatric critical care environment in a major metro area. This opportunity is ideal for advanced practice providers with strong procedural skills and flexibility to work across varied shifts. The facility is actively licensing and ready to welcome committed locums!
Assignment Details:
• Start: ASAP, ongoing need
• Shift commitment: At least 4-6 shifts per 4-week block preferred
• Schedule: Days, evenings, nights, weekends as part of a 24/7/365 model
• Equal distribution of weekend, night, and holiday shifts
• Shift types include:
• 10-hour evening shifts (1:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
• 12-hour day/night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Clinical Scope & Volume:
• Patient Load (PICU): 4-6 patients/day
• Night call includes all patients at checkout + new admissions
• In-house night call shared equally after orientation
• Key procedures required:
• Arterial/Central Line Placement
• Chest Tube Placement
• Endotracheal Intubation
• Lumbar Puncture
• PICC Line Placement
Contract Terms:
• Preferred: Initial 13-week contract
• Will consider 26-week assignments case-by-case
• Credentialing timeframe: Approx. 90 days
Licensing & Requirements:
• Active TX License or Willing to License
• BC NP/PA in Pediatric Critical Care
• BLS, PALS, NRP - Required
• EMR: Epic
