Clinical Role:
Seeking a provider with:
Minimum 2 years of Urgent Care experience , or
1 year of Emergency Medicine experience
Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages
Must be comfortable with:
Orthopedic procedures (splinting)
Wound care
Procedural Skills Required (Please confirm at submission):
Suturing, wound care, and I&Ds
Splinting
X-Rays and EKGs
Drawing blood and starting IVs
Working independently
Pediatrics
Scheduling:
Urgent care hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Must work at least 10 shifts a month in order to be considered
Patient Volume & Support:
3-4 patients/hour
Support staff includes medical assistants and radiology techs
EPIC EMR
1-3 providers per site/day
Clinical Scope:
Cold/flu, rashes, minor lacerations and burns, sprains, orthopedic complaints
Basic procedures, anything high acuity referred to local ER
