Job Responsibilities:- Provide emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.
- Float between Berkshire Medical Center and North Adams Hospital as required.
- Work 12-hour overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Monitor and supervise paramedics and ambulance communications.
- Coordinate patient admissions with hospitalists or admitting services.
- Ensure compliance with hospital bylaws, including response time for on-call physicians.
- Maintain collaboration with APPs for effective patient care.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (within 5 years of residency).
- Active Massachusetts medical license (highly preferred).
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications.
- Clean background to facilitate quick credentialing.
- Availability for the scheduled shifts with a clear identification.
- Local providers preferred; no travel arrangements needed.
- Must hold an active Massachusetts medical license.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS.
- ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible status required.
