Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
Setting: Outpatient oncology (solid tumor only); infusion center support
Responsibilities:
Outpatient follow-up for solid tumor oncology patients
Evaluation/assessment and symptom management
Support infusion nursing staff
Assist with lab value follow-up and symptom management on call
Required Procedures: None specified
EMR System: Epic (Beacon)
Support Staff: 2 physicians, 2 APPs, infusion nurses, radiation oncology team
Days Per Month: Approx. 16
On-Call/Weekends: Rotation 1 in 3 4 weeks (includes night/weekend calls for labs/symptoms)
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (prior to start) REQUIRED
Recent outpatient oncology experience REQUIRED
Oregon license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
AONCP certification REQUIRED
NPDB Self Query REQUIRED
BLS REQUIRED
Clean background/no malpractice REQUIRED
Full presentation uploaded into Trio REQUIRED
CAQH login and password REQUIRED at time of offer
Verbal confirmation of DEA REQUIRED
