We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our esteemed neonatal care team in Atlanta, GA . In this critical role, you will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring optimal health outcomes and support for families during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage the care of neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for each infant.
- Provide education and support to families, helping them understand their newborn's condition and treatment options.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, making timely adjustments to care plans based on clinical findings.
- Participate in rounds, case discussions, and team meetings to enhance care delivery and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
- Stay current with advancements in neonatal care practices and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active NP license in the state of Georgia
- 1 to 2 years of neonatology experience (preferred)
- Active DEA
