This facility is a respected community hospital with 7 beds in the department. It operates as a Level 1 trauma center with comprehensive medical services. The hospital is known for its patient-centered care approach and collaborative work environment among healthcare professionals.
Opportunity: ACLS-Obstetrics and Gynecology
This is a locum tenens opportunity requiring board certification or board eligibility. The position involves managing approximately 5 patient encounters per shift in a supportive clinical setting.
Job Details:
- Start date September 15, 2025 with ongoing assignment potential
- Credentials required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Must be comfortable with low and high-risk pregnancies
- Skills required include FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I and II)
- Performance of amniocentesis procedures
- Management of routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and C-sections
- Experience with breech deliveries, multiple births, and abruptions
- Ability to repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology skills including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Surgical gynecology experience with open procedures and laparoscopic procedures
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 10 days
