Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed:

12-hour shifts: 7A-7P and 7P-7A

Clinical Details:

• Combined ICU: medical, surgical, trauma, cardiac, CT surgery
• Multidisciplinary, daily rounds at the bedside
• Responsibilities include:
  • Critical Care admissions and consults
  • Participation in daily ICU rounds
  • Invasive procedures: intubation, central and arterial lines, chest tubes, thoracentesis and paracentesis, pheresis catheters
  • Appropriate documentation using ICU templates
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Recent experience with EPIC EMR
• Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
• Active PA License and PA DEA at time of presentation
  • DEA must remain in Florida for duration of privileges being active
