Opportunity: Board Certification - Child and Adolescent PsychiatryThis is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing intermittent coverage for vacation and CME requests in the Psychiatric Youth Treatment Unit. The position requires Child and Adolescent Psychiatry board-certification and offers a professional environment with established protocols for patient care.
Job Details:•Work in the Psychiatric Youth Treatment Unit (PYTU) treating patients aged 5-17 years
• Average patient volume of 8-12 per day
• No Emergency Department admissions required
• May be required to handle direct admissions from regional hospitals
• Regional admissions are coordinated through in-house transfer center
• Scheduled shifts only with no on-call responsibilities during non-business hours
• Inpatient
• Must be comfortable with seclusion therapy and restraint application
• Required clinical expertise includes anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders
• Preferred skills include experience with eating disorders, developmental disorders, group therapy, and family therapy
• Pharmacotherapy experience required
• Active MT License or IMLC, BC or BE fellowship required
