I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share an exciting locum opportunity for an experienced NP or PA to provide Hospitalist coverage at Outer Banks Health Hospital in Nags Head, NC .
Position Details:Schedule: Sunday Thursday, 2 PM 10 PM (May 4 Sept 4, with potential to extend)
Duties: Admissions, consults, co-management of ED holds/inpatients
Patient Load: 4-6 admissions/day, 5-7 at night (Avg. census: 17-21)
No ICU or ED backup responsibilities (Respond to codes but not in the ED)
EMR: EPIC
️ Active NC License & DEA
️ BLS & ACLS (AHA required)
️ Must be available for orientation the day before the first scheduled shift
Join an established hospitalist team (2 physicians & 4 APPs)
