Internal Medicine Physician

Shift:
Clinic 5 days a week
Open to 4-day clinic weeks on non-call weeks
Inpatient call on rotation (every 2 3 weekends)
Scheduled clinical hours plus call

Description:
Provide internal medicine cardiology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Responsibilities include outpatient cardiology, ICU management, and non-invasive procedures.
Perform echocardiography, transesophageal echo (TEE), and nuclear cardiology procedures (e.g., cardiolyte, thallium).
Manage STEMI cases and participate in inpatient call rotations.
Work schedule includes regular clinic days and weekend call every 2 3 weekends.
Flexible clinic schedule possible on non-call weeks.

• Board Certification required
• Louisiana license or IMLC required
• Skills in outpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI management
