  • DATES & Schedule (call): Monday-Friday (9am-6pm) - On call rotation M-F (6pm-9am) - Saturday & Sunday 24 hour on call.
  • LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: 1/12/2026 - 4/10/2026
  • The APP will be required to provide primary andacute care services to patients of all ages.
  • Annual physicals and wellness visits
  • Immunizations and vaccine counseling
  • Diagnosing and managing conditions like:
  • Hypertension
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Hyperlipidemia
  • Asthma/COPD
  • Thyroid disorders
  • Depression/anxiety
  • Medication titration and monitoring lab results
  • Coordinating care with specialists
  • Evaluating and treating common complaints:
  • Cough, fever, sore throat
  • Abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation
  • Urinary symptoms (UTIs, urgency)
  • Minor injuries (sprains, lacerations, rashes)
  • Ordering and interpreting labs and imaging
  • Prescribing appropriate medications
  • Staff Mix: Physician On site during coverage. Support staff TBD
  • REQUIREMENTS (state license, life support, DEA, etc.): AK State License, DEA, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CALS.
  • EMR SYSTEM: EPIC
  • TRAVEL RESTIRCTIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS:
  • Lodging Provided
  • Transportation (company vehicle) while on island provided
  • Round-trip travel expenses to Unalaska be reimbursed upon completion
