Facility in Maine seeking ObGyn locums coverage Rates: $300 - $400/hr Schedule Overview Coverage needed for the following 2025 dates (must be able to cover most or all):
    • September: 1 2 15
    • October: 1 2, 6, 8 13
    • November: 5
  • December: 1 22, 29, 31
Shifts include:
  • On-call coverage
  • Clinic + On-call on some days
  • Call structure includes first-call CNMs, with OB/GYN as second-call for complications
Key Responsibilities
    • Obstetrics: Assist when CNMs escalate cases, cover labor and delivery if needed
    • Gynecology: Strong GYN skillset required, including routine procedures
  • Procedures Required:
    • Endometrial ablation
    • IUD insertion/removal
    • Menopausal management
    • Failed medical management
    • Urinary incontinence assessments
    • Routine GYN care and exams

  • Approximately 120 births per year
  • OB/GYN department includes OB/GYNs, FM/OBs, and CNMs
  • Tight-knit, skilled care team
  • Services both OB and GYN, though GYN expertise is emphasized for this role
Credentialing & Compliance
  • Board Certification in OB/GYN Required
  • Maine License or active IMLC Required
  • Credentialing Timeframe: days
  • Must be willing and able to perform full scope of GYN procedures
