- Additional Details: Outpatient Cardiology positionIdeally experienced in managing (physical assessment, guideline based medication treatment, risk stratification) of heart failure, cardiomyopathies, valvular diseases, and arrhythmias.APPs do a lot of independent treatment, but do work with a supervising cardiologist.This is exclusively outpatient with no inpatient careNo oversight of diagnostic procedures other than pacemaker interrogations which are performed by the various reps from pacemaker manufacturers.multidisciplinary department with APPs working with MD, RN, pharmacists, dietitians, etc.Weekdays only,4 x 10 hr daysTelephone call every 2 months or so
