Position Details:
Patient Population: Neonatal
Setting: Level III NICU (Hospital-based)
Responsibilities: Provide attending coverage at a 70-bed Level III NICU and support Level I well-baby care at a second hospital. Participate in in-house call and high-risk delivery coverage.
Required Procedures: Neonatal intensive care; no cardiovascular surgery or ECMO
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: 10 Neonatologists and 10 NNPs
Days Per Month: 156 hours/month (1872 hours/year)
On-Call/Weekends: In-house call with 24-hour NNP coverage including weekends
Submission Requirements:
Master s Degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing REQUIRED
NNP Board Certified REQUIRED (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted)
Active FL License or willing to obtain REQUIRED
2+ years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner REQUIRED
