Psychiatry - Addiction Physician

Facility in Ottawa, IL seeking Psychiatry locums coverage Rates: $280/hr Position Overview

• Specialty: Psychiatry
• Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry
• Role:
• Manage and treat patients with depression, bipolar disorder, alcohol abuse, and schizophrenia
• Work in a 22-bed mental health unit
• See 10-15 patients per day
• Conduct 1 consult per day
• 7 days on, 7 days off schedule (Tuesday 7 AM Monday 7 PM)
• 8 or 12-hour shifts in hospital (exact times TBD)
• Take call 3-5 days per week (off-site call allowed)
• Support Staff: Full team including nurses, case managers, therapists, and another provider
• EMR: EPIC

Shifts Per Month: 14 shifts (Full-time or Part-time options available)
Call Schedule:

• 3-5 days of call per week
• Call can be taken off-site
• 30-minute response time required
• No admissions while on call

Credentialing & Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN Certified) Required
Active Illinois Medical License Required
DEA License Required
CSR License Required
Active ACLS Certification Required
Minimum 1 year of experience Required Credentialing Timeframe:

• Standard Privileges: Up to 90 days
