Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Gastroenterologist, providing 24-hour coverage in a reputable facility located in beautiful Atlantic City, New Jersey. This role includes a 7 on/7 off rotation between two campuses, allowing you to balance work and leisure while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic coastal city.
Practice Overview:
Clinical Areas: Adult, Inpatient / Hospital-based acute care
Reason for Coverage: Transitioning GI practice
Average Patient Load: (clinic), 5 (hospital-based)
Facility Features: Onsite Lab, X-Ray, Cerner EMR
Trauma Designation: Level 2
- Provide 24-hour hospital-based call coverage.
- Conduct lower and upper GI endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and esophageal manometry.
- Manage and interpret advanced GI procedures such as EUS and ERCP.
- Perform on-site consultations and procedures during the daytime.
- Cover overnight calls from 5 PM to 7 AM.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Create and maintain accurate medical records using Cerner EMR.
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
- Proficiency in advanced GI procedures (including ERCP, EUS) (REQUIRED)
- Experience working in a Level 2 trauma center.
- Preferred experience with Cerner EMR.
- Willingness to obtain New Jersey License (highly preferred).
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
- New Jersey Medical License (or willingness to apply).
