We areseeking a Locums Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant to provide inpatient traumacare coverage in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role supports trauma servicesat a well-established facility, with flexible scheduling options and a strongclinical team environment.

- Shift Options:
- 7:00 - 7:00 (12-hour shifts)
- 7:00 - 3:00 (8-hour shifts)
- Coverage Requirements:
- Up to 8-9 days per month of on-site trauma or back-up coverage
- Weekday and weekend coverage needed
- Includes inpatient rounding and trauma service support
ClinicalDetails
- Daily Patient Volume : Approximately 10 patients
- Trauma APP Role: Inpatient rounding and trauma coverage
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based, Level II or III trauma environment
- EMR System: Meditech Expanse
Qualifications
- Active PA license (New Hampshire preferred or willing to obtain)
- ATLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior trauma surgery experience highly preferred
- Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced trauma setting
