Overview
Join to apply for the SAP FSRI Consultant role at Zurich North America. The role is based in Schaumburg, IL with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Analyze business requirements and design SAP FSRI solutions that align with customer needs and industry best practices.
- Implementation: Lead or support SAP FSRI implementation projects, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, FS-CD).
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate and improve reinsurance accounting, claims, and reporting processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users, IT teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide post-implementation support, resolve system issues, and ensure continuous process improvement.
- Documentation & Training: Create user documentation and deliver training sessions to ensure smooth adoption and knowledge transfer.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or Marketing, or equivalent
- 7+ years of software product management or product development experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development defining desktop and web-based applications
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio OR
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of experience in software product management or product development
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 7+ years of experience in product management or product development
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FSRI (implementation, configuration, and support)
- Strong understanding of reinsurance processes and financial accounting
- RAM process, treaty setup design, SIMA uploads
- Basic knowledge of AIM tool for data loads
- Extensive experience with SCMA job scheduling
- Extensive experience with Risk Manager and basic system accounting
- Ability to interact with business to gather requirements and translate them into Functional Specs
- Experience with integration to other SAP modules and third-party systems is an advantage
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation & Location
Location: Schaumburg, IL • Remote Working: Hybrid • Employment Type: Full Time
Compensation: The proposed salary range for this position is $124,410.00 to $203,610.00, with a short-term incentive bonus eligibility of 20% (range may vary by location, skill, and experience).
