Job Opening: Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant

Location: Austin, TX OR Fremont, CA (Onsite – 5 days/week)

Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Consultant to deliver full-cycle production support, integration management, and operational governance across Oracle Cost Management, Inventory, and Intercompany processes.

Responsibilities:

Cost Management & Support

• Manage costing methods (Standard, FIFO, LIFO, Average).
• Maintain SLA integrations; analyze cost layers and variances.
• Support WIP, BOM, and inventory valuation.

Technical Troubleshooting

• Resolve cost discrepancies, period close issues.
• Reconcile Inventory and GL data.

Integration Management

• Maintain Oracle Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and GL integrations.
• Support Payables/Receivables and intercompany flows.

Operational Governance

• Contribute to change management, updates, and documentation.
• Ensure SOX compliance and data accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ experience of Oracle Fusion Cost Management, Inventory, and integrations with Payables/Receivables and Supply Chain Orchestration modules
• Knowledge of costing methods (Standard Costing, Average Costing, FIFO, LIFO)
• Experience with subledger accounting (SLA) and its integration with financials
• Proficiency in Inventory Valuation and understanding of cost layers
• Familiarity with Work in Process (WIP) and Bills of Material (BOM) costing
• Experience with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, including writing and optimizing queries
• Understanding of Oracle costing table’s structure and relationships
• Proven ability to debug PL/SQL procedures and troubleshoot complex costing issues
• Experience with period close processes and reconciliation activities
• Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements related to financial systems
