SAP SD / OTC Functional Consultant (aATP Mandatory)

Location: Onsite, Newark, CA

Duration: Long-term contract

Start: Immediate

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end OTC processes including quotations, sales orders, aATP (Advanced Available-to-Promise), deliveries, shipping, billing, returns/RMA, and credit management.
  • Lead aATP design and configuration: product allocation, supply protection, backorder processing (BOP), alternative-based confirmation (ABC), and integration with PP/MM and manufacturing planning.
  • Design complex pricing and condition techniques, tax determination hooks, and AR integration with FICO; ensure clean and compliant account determination.
  • Integrate SD with MM, EWM/TM, and Manufacturing; hands‑on with IDoc/EDI, output determination, and Variant Configuration where applicable.
  • Write fit gap analysis, configuration documentation, functional specs, and test plans; partner with ABAP teams for user exits, BADIs, enhancements, and Fiori enablement.
  • Support global template rollouts, localization requirements, and master data governance (customers, materials, partner functions).
  • Monitor interfaces and background jobs; analyze queue/performance issues and drive root‑cause resolution with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across Sales Operations, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Finance in a highly onsite, fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 8 10+ years of SAP SD experience with deep hands‑on expertise in aATP (mandatory).
  • Proven experience configuring and supporting aATP in S/4HANA in complex, high‑volume order fulfillment scenarios.
  • At least one‑two full‑cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Strong integration knowledge across SD MM PP EWM/TM and FI/CO.
  • Automotive, manufacturing, or VMS domain exposure is a strong plus.
  • Excellent onsite communication skills with the ability to translate business demand into scalable SAP solutions.

Salary: $150,000.00-$160,000.00 Newark, CA 1 day ago
