We are seeking a highly motivatedMachine Learning Engineer with expertise inobject detection —especially using frameworks likeYOLO to join our growing AI team. This role will focus on developing, training, and deploying object detection models in production environments. The ideal candidate has experience working with large-scale image datasets, deploying ML models usingAWS infrastructure , and is eager to buildend-to-end ML pipelines from experimentation to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and fine-tune object detection models using YOLO or similar frameworks (e.g., Faster R-CNN , SSD ).
  • Build scalable training pipelines and manage datasets for detection tasks.
  • Optimize model performance (accuracy, inference speed) for edge or cloud deployment.
  • Design and implement end-to-end ML workflows, from data preprocessing to deployment.
  • Containerize models and deploy them using AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, etc.).
  • Collaborate with product, data, and backend teams to integrate models into production systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid experience with object detection frameworks (YOLOv5 , YOLOv8 , etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Experience training custom models on real-world datasets.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (S3, EC2, SageMaker, Lambda, etc.).
  • Understanding of Docker, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience deploying models to edge devices or mobile environments.
  • Knowledge of model optimization techniques (ONNX, TensorRT, quantization).
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow.
  • Experience with ROS2
