TIG Welder

The TIG Welder will be responsible for welding using TIG or heliarc techniques on thin stainless steel. This role involves producing custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry, emphasizing precision and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG and heliarc welding on thin stainless steel.
  • Produce custom, short-run, prototype equipment for the food industry.
  • Utilize various welding techniques such as MIG Welding and Wire Feed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T standards.
  • Conduct intricate welding processes, both hand and machine, to develop complex fabrications.
  • Perform fixturing and set-up as required.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments effectively.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 7+ years of welding experience.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and GMAW in various positions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work on intricate welding processes to closely prescribed standards.
  • Experience in operating welding equipment and machine settings for various welding processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
