We are searching for an assembler to join an innovative and customer-focused manufacturing plan in Coopersville, MI.

Manufacturing is in our client's DNA. They began as a family owned business over 70 years ago. Our client manufactures and markets suet and seed cakes, bird feeders and wildlife supplies. Having pioneered the suet cake, they continue to craft them, along with other products, in their Coopersville, Michigan plant. Their products are sold to retailers and distributors, across the US and abroad, serving the home, lawn, and garden markets.

Production Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 15.00 to $ 21.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)

Manufacturing of bird seed bricks (Suet)

Job Duties: Mixing beef fat with seeds, some pouring beef fat by hand, packing with shrink wrap machine, Unloading/loading machine, Quality checks, packaging/stacking end-product

Dress Code: Pants, shirt, closed toed shoes

PPE: Safety glasses must be worn

Physical Requirements: Standing all day

Additional Info: Employee locker offered but lock is self provided

Production Qualifications:

Ability to lift consistently.

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist throughout shift.

General understanding of assembly procedures.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.
