SLP, Speech Language Pathologist - School
The Katherine Thomas School, a program of TLC in Rockville, MD, is seeking a full‑time, 10‑month Speech Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow (CF) to begin with the current school year. The position serves students with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or moderate to high functioning autism, split between High School and Middle School.
Responsibilities
Provide diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic services for speech, pragmatic language, and autism‑related communication problems.
Collaborate with educators and related professionals to support student progress.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences, or equivalent.
MD State license.
Experience with augmentative systems, visualizing and verbalizing, and social thinking is a plus.
Strong diagnostic evaluation and report‑writing skills.
Salary $62,500 to $79,000 for 10 months, based on experience. CF salary $62,500 for 10 months.
