Opportunity Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details
Work day shifts in cardiovascular operating room
40 guaranteed hours per week
Average case volume of 3 procedures per day across 2 operating rooms
2 years of surgical tech experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Every other weekend requirement
On-call required 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd-4th weekend
Will float within scope to meet facility needs when no CVOR surgeries are scheduled
BLS certification required
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Maximum 7 days requested time off per 13-week contract
No RTO allowed during first week of assignment
Scrub color provided by facility
Free parking available
Perform cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG's, AVR, MVR, Thoracoscopy, Thoracotomy, Robotic Thoracoscopy, TAVR, Impella's, and Pericardial windows
Work with specialized equipment including preferred DaVinci robot
Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
Facility This short-term acute care facility features 285 staffed beds and operates a specialized cardiovascular operating room department. The facility focuses on advanced cardiothoracic surgical procedures and maintains state-of-the-art equipment including robotic surgical systems. The organization provides comprehensive surgical services with a dedicated team approach to patient care and maintains high standards for surgical outcomes.
