Burns & McDonnell . The position will lead project delivery teams to develop and advance software technology and tools throughout the organization. The specialist will guide the development, testing, and implementation of project delivery initiatives through Procore, ensuring alignment with budget constraints and client needs. The specialist will also evaluate roadmap items for value and provide training to end users.
What You Will Do
Lead and develop solutions for applications, reports and dashboards specifically for Procore for internal and external clients, including model‑driven apps, canvas apps, and portal apps.
Lead and develop Procore solutions for the global practices.
Lead implementation of security and automation flow routines within Procore applications.
Review research into new software functionality to support corporate Procore project delivery and data management initiatives.
Prepare and present project budgets, cost estimates, and report project performance.
Apply knowledge and experience to complex projects and develop technology solutions in Procore to satisfy business requirements.
Coordinate between disciplines and Global Practices to develop software and technology that will optimize business processes, deliverables, integration, and data management.
Build effective relationships with existing clients and develop new internal business opportunities.
Ensure customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.
Train end users and provide troubleshooting and front‑line support for super users.
Assist with project setup and vet requests for new projects.
Audit early projects for adherence to standards.
Continuously improve work instructions and training materials.
Evaluate application roadmap for value‑add items, then communicate and implement.
Create high‑value AI agents within the application.
Provide business perspective support for reporting.
Assist with integration requests with ERP or other applications.
Develop application‑based solutions to replace other applications for licensing cost reduction and improved end‑user experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and 8 years relevant experience.
Consulting experience in the architectural, engineering and/or construction industries preferred.
Software development and programming experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of Procore experience preferred.
Understanding of software and hardware system architecture.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; and the ability to present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills; ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem‑solving environment.
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
