Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Elevate Your FP&A Career with the World's Largest Marina Owner & Operator

Ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic FP&A role within the marina real estate industry? Join our client, a private equity portfolio company and the world's largest owner and operator of marinas with both domestic and international properties. This fast‑growing organization operates hundreds of marinas across diverse markets and is in a period of significant expansion and scaling. This position reports directly to the FP&A Manager and offers exposure to the EVP of Finance, Regional Vice Presidents, and cross‑functional teams.

What You'll Do:

Lead critical budgeting and forecasting processes

that drive organizational strategy and expansion initiatives across hundreds of marina locations

Conduct comprehensive variance analysis

to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across multiple business units and regional operations

Build and maintain sophisticated financial models

that support executive decision‑making and strategic planning

Prepare and present executive‑level reports and presentations

that translate complex financial data into clear insights for regional vice presidents and department heads

Partner with regional leadership and field finance teams

to analyze performance metrics and support data‑driven business strategies

Drive month‑end and quarter‑end close processes

with focus on accuracy and timeliness

Provide strategic financial analysis

to cross‑functional teams to assist in decision‑making and strategic initiatives

Lead continuous improvement initiatives

of financial forecasting models and budgeting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy

Work closely with the FP&A Manager

to develop and scale the FP&A department as the business grows

Help transform current FP&A functions

into a more mature, standardized operation

What We're Looking For: Experience Requirements:

3‑5 years of FP&A Analyst experience in an enterprise‑level organization

OR 3‑5 years of public accounting experience with strong desire to transition into FP&A

Experience working in or with enterprise‑level businesses in private equity or public company environments with established standardized processes and procedures (ideal)

Experience in private equity‑backed or multi‑site/multi‑location operations (preferred)

Experience working in decentralized operational settings (preferred)

Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA, CFA, or advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance) highly desirable

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel proficiency : pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling, and advanced formulas

Exposure to or experience with FP&A platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar software)

Experience with large data sets and financial systems (ERP, CRM); NetSuite knowledge a plus

PowerPoint/presentation software for executive reporting

Comfortable working in a somewhat manual operation with multiple systems , utilizing Excel for analysis while helping to build more automated solutions
