QA Automation Engineer
for a
Contract
with a client in
Hartford, CT . You will design and execute automated test strategies for Five9 and Salesforce platforms, ensuring robust API and data integration validation.
Rate Range:
$45/hour to $56/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute test strategies and cases for Five9 (IVR/ACD configurations, call flows, CTI) and Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud, Lightning components, integrations).
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, JavaScript, and related frameworks (TestNG/JUnit, Cypress, Playwright).
Perform API and data validation testing for REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and performance.
Manage test plans, traceability, and defect lifecycle using tools like Rational Tool Suite, JIRA, RQM, and RTC.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and ensure comprehensive testing in Agile environments.
Prepare clear test documentation including test plans, cases, traceability matrices, and release sign-off reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years in QA testing with strong automation experience.
Hands‑on experience testing Five9 and Salesforce platforms, including configurations and integrations.
Strong automation skills using Selenium, Java, and JavaScript, with experience in API testing and data validation.

Pay Details:
$45.00 to $56.00 per hour
