Program Director - Neuropsychology
Whether you are a resident, an early‑career physician, or a seasoned clinician, Akron Children’s Hospital offers a unique, collaborative environment. The Program Director for Neuropsychology will oversee programming, staff training, and ensure compliance with evidence‑based neuropsychology assessment and treatment modalities. The role reports to the Director of Psychology and serves as a liaison between the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health and other clinical divisions.
Technical Expertise
Skilled in communicating evidence‑based practice findings to diverse audiences.
Ability to develop and deliver evidence‑based practice education and training materials.
Experience developing and implementing evidence‑based practice programs.
Experience supervising clinical staff and overseeing clinical programs.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software.
Preferred experience with electronic medical record software such as EPIC.
Education and Experience
Minimum of three years of relevant experience leading evidence‑based neuropsychological assessment programs and clinical staff.
PhD or PsyD with ABPP certification is required.
This position is a 501(c)(3) site qualifying for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the federal government.
