Job Title: Direct Support Professional 1 Hourly Rate: $21‑25 Shifts Needed: Evenings & Overnights Job Status: Full Time Work Locations: Simi Valley, CA

Responsibilities
Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in Individual Program Plans.
Support the needs and goals of each resident by participating in the development of IPP/ISP goals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.
Support residents by taking them to visit family, friends, preferred leisure/recreation activities, and encouraging socialization among peers.
Assist clients with personal care such as grooming, bathroom needs, changing undergarments or clothing as needed.
Prepare daily meals and assist with clean‑up.
Pick‑up/drop‑off clients in company vans from/to home/facility as required.
Report incidents or problems and communicate daily with administrators.
Perform other duties assigned as needed.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of professional or personal caregiving experience; preferred supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors.
Direct Support Professional Certificate Years 1 & 2 and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) preferred or willing to obtain within first 6 months of hire.
First Aid / CPR preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days.
Minimum age 21.
California Driver’s License.
Successful completion of background check and all pre-employment requirements.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Work Remotely: No.
