Education: Formal 2‑year radiologic technology training in an AMA‑approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements. Experience: At least two years in an acute care setting with specific experience in CT Scan (computerized tomography) components. Licenses/Certifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) in computed tomography; OR ART(R) or NMTCB certification AND documented training on computed tomography. State license if required. American Heart Association BLS. CT registry within 6 months. AHA BLS.
Key Responsibilities
TRA CT Tech: The CT (Computerized Tomography) Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups; from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.
