We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our Urgent Care center in Tom Green County, TX, near Houston. As an NP, you will evaluate, diagnose, treat acute illness and injuries, perform procedures, and coordinate patient care.
Responsibilities
Assess patient histories and conduct physical examinations.
Order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
Diagnose acute illnesses and injuries.
Prescribe medications and recommend treatment plans.
Perform bedside procedures as needed.
Provide patient education regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
Strong clinical decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced urgent care setting.
Experience with acute care and emergency procedures is preferred.
