Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in API integration and Java development. This role involves designing, modifying, and implementing complex software applications to support business and management needs. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to lead projects while mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities
Modify existing software applications or develop new programs to meet user and organizational requirements.
Design, test, debug, document, and implement software solutions.
Consult with users to design, modify, and explain program changes; provide technical support as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems.
Serve as project leader for the development of automated systems or procedures.
Provide direction, training, and mentorship to other team members.
Deliver technical and consultative support on complex technical matters.
Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications.
Offer technical assistance in resolving hardware and software problems.
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of technical tools used in systems development and support.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mainframe development.
Strong proficiency in API development and Java programming.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex software solutions.
Experience leading projects and mentoring technical teams.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and consultative abilities.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in systems development.
