Position Title
Senior Lecturer-Maternity Position Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to provide student centered teaching in both didactic and clinical instruction of undergraduate level courses. Faculty in this position will provide student advising, student mentoring and recruitment, curriculum development and conducting scholarly activities. Other responsibilities include engaging in accreditation procedures, program assessment and service to the school, college and university as needed. The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate level courses, conducting development, conducting scholarly activities.
This is a 12 month non tenure track position. Responsibilities
Provide student centered teaching in didactic and clinical instruction of undergraduate level courses. Provide student advising, mentoring and recruitment. Curriculum development and conduct scholarly activities. Engage in accreditation procedures and program assessment. Serve the school, college and university as needed. Qualifications
Minimum required education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Preferred: Doctoral Degree in Nursing. Three years of clinical experience related to childbearing families, newborns and women. Two years of nursing education experience. Nurse Educator Certification. Skills with Blackboard LMS, Banner INB, and Microsoft Office. Must hold a current unrestricted registered nurse license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain one. If candidate is an advanced practice nurse, must hold national certification. Work Arrangement
On-site. Employees primarily in the office and/or have a critical job requirement that requires dedicated office space on-site. This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. Benefits
