Job Title: Data Analyst
Location Options: Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid) Employment Type: Long Term Contract About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data governance, quality assurance, and documentation for supervisory platforms and data migration initiatives. This role plays a key part in strengthening enterprise data alignment, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering insights that support effective decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong experience in data documentation, UAT, SQL-based validation, and cross-functional collaboration within complex or regulated environments. Key Responsibilities
Data Documentation & Governance
Develop and maintain data flow diagrams (DFDs), data scope definitions, and data contracts for supervisory systems and migration initiatives Create, review, and validate source-to-target mappings to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards Data Quality & UAT
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data mappings, transformations, and control models Design and execute test plans and data quality checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability Document test results, defects, and remediation actions Data Analysis & Reporting
Investigate data issues, risks, and reporting gaps in partnership with Product Owners and stakeholders Support implementation and enhancement of supervisory data models aligned with the product roadmap Develop and validate reports and dashboards using BI tools Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with business and technology teams to gather requirements and align deliverables Support business-as-usual (BAU) controls and ongoing system enhancements Contribute to continuous improvement of data integrity and governance processes Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience 3–5+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality/UAT, or data governance Strong SQL skills (SQL Server, Oracle) for data profiling and validation Hands-on experience with ETL and data integration tools (Informatica, SSIS, Alteryx) Experience working with AWS, Snowflake, and data pipeline transformations Working knowledge of Python for data transformation and quality checks Experience developing or validating dashboards using Tableau or similar BI tools Proven experience writing UAT scripts, executing test plans, and tracking defects Strong written and verbal communication skills Tools & Technologies
SQL Server, Oracle Informatica, SSIS, Alteryx AWS, Snowflake Python Tableau or comparable BI tools Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supervision, compliance, or financial services data domains Exposure to surveillance or compliance platforms (e.g., systems of record, Mantas) Knowledge of data governance frameworks and control model validation Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for defect tracking and UAT coordination Core Competencies
