Entry Level Design Engineer - Gas Utilities
Location: St. Louis, MO.
Joining our growing engineering consulting firm with a strong gas utility team, you will support high‑pressure gas distribution and transmission projects across multiple industries. You will work in the Gas Programs team on main replacements, public improvements, pipelines, regulator stations, and trenchless installations.
As a Design Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with project engineers and designers to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions. Your responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, designing pipeline routes, and developing construction estimates.
This role offers hybrid work flexibility with site visits and in‑person meetings in St. Louis, Missouri.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering from an accredited institution. Valid driver’s license without restrictions for occasional project visits.
Preferred Qualifications 0–4 years of natural gas engineering experience, preferably at an engineering consulting firm. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation or other 2D and 3D modeling software (drafting itself may not be part of your role, but experience with the software used by our drafters and designers is valuable).
