With expertise in brand consulting, sales strategy, data‑driven insights, and talent optimization, Elevate gives its clients a competitive edge in the fight for people’s precious time and attention. Established in 2018, Elevate set out to help sports teams and leagues spark innovation and drive performance. Role Overview The Senior Experiential Designer, Spatial role will play a key role in translating brand narratives into
three‑dimensional environments —from initial concept to final execution. This is not a purely visual or digital design role; proven spatial design experience is key. Ideal candidates have an understanding of
how people interact with physical space, materiality, circulation, scale, and atmosphere . You’re fluent in spatial planning and environmental storytelling, and confident producing 2D and 3D design documentation that guides fabrication, installation, and implementation. You are a designer who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting, balancing creative vision with the constraints and possibilities of real‑world execution. You’re confident presenting ideas and designs, open to feedback, and excited by the challenges of designing within complex spatial and brand contexts. We welcome applicants from diverse design backgrounds—Environmental Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Scenic Design, or similar. However, you must be able to show professional work that demonstrates spatial thinking and execution in physical environments. This could include built projects, design development for real‑world installations, environmental graphics with spatial integration, or other spatially‑driven design work.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead sections of projects independently—from early research and concepting to final design deliverables.
Produce design deliverables such as mood boards, sketches, renderings, sequential walk paths, environmental graphics, and technical documentation.
Translate brand and storytelling goals into spatial and experiential solutions that drive emotional engagement and business results.
Collaborate with Creative Directors, Design Directors, Project Managers, and cross‑functional team members (storytelling, interiors, technical, architects) to ensure seamless project execution.
Mentor Associate Designers and Designers through critiques, feedback sessions, and day‑to‑day project collaboration.
Conduct design research to inspire new concepts and push creative boundaries.
Participate in client presentations, helping articulate creative rationale and fielding feedback.
Contribute ideas for evolving design systems, workflows, and studio culture.
Experience
5‑7+ years of professional experience in experiential design for spatial/built environments.
Proven track record delivering spatial conceptual design through realization for medium and large‑scale projects.
A well‑designed portfolio showcasing process, conceptual design, space planning, graphic/branding, renderings, and material selection for interiors or experiential spaces.
Experience leading projects independently or with minimal supervision, as well as projects under direction.
Demonstrated mentorship experience—helping guide and develop junior designers’ work.
Client‑facing experience in presenting ideas, gathering feedback, and helping shape project direction.
Comfortable building production‑ready artwork and/or technical documentation, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
Skills
Technical Expertise: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, and working knowledge of SketchUp and Revit; familiar with architectural documents and technical drawings.
Creative Execution: Consistently delivers highly‑polished, innovative design solutions aligned with creative direction and project needs.

Strategic Mindset: Frames creative challenges clearly; connects design solutions to project objectives and human‑centered insights.
Communication and Storytelling: Presents work persuasively to both internal teams and clients; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaboration and Mentorship: Works closely with cross‑disciplinary teams and mentors junior designers through critique and feedback.
