The Principal Financial Analyst will provide financial planning, reporting and analytics in support of the Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) division. This role will be responsible for planning and analysis for US Revenue and Markets, in partnership with all US commercial teams. This role will prepare financial plans, forecasts, monthly reporting, and strategic plans. The role will also gather and publish financial information related to historical, current and future performance for management reporting as well as perform financial analysis and bring forward recommendations utilizing appropriate financial information, concepts, and techniques. This position requires an individual that is highly collaborative who can think strategically to help optimize revenue and expense through planning, analytics and collaboration with financial and business leaders. The ideal candidate will be career driven and have strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities Include
Support revenue and standard margin planning and reporting for the division. This includes strong knowledge of US markets, share, pricing, and potential impact of new products and clinical studies Partner with US Sales and Marketing teams to maintain a US Market Model Leads preparation of detailed financial forecasts and strategic plans across Marketing, Finance, and Sales incorporating, trended and current business information Present forecasts and ad‑hoc information across many audiences, including Senior Leadership Prepare and distribute financial reports by gathering and analyzing data related to performance Perform financial analysis and recommend alternative courses of action by utilizing appropriate financial tools Consolidate/assist with Regional and Worldwide revenue, pricing, and margin reporting Financial support for standard margin to include financial planning, reporting, and target costing Understand key commercial/R&D investments and support estimating return on investment in support of key investment decisions and expense optimization Collaborate and communicate effectively with business partners and finance leadership Apply GAAP, BSC accounting policy and a “Controls First” mentality while supporting period end close Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA or CPA a plus 5+ years’ progressive experience in related Finance roles Strong financial analysis, communication, organizational and prioritization skills Ability to develop business relationships and lead financial reviews with strong service orientation Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines, attention to detail Highly collaborative, team orientated, and career driven Excellent technical skills (financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion) Preferred Qualifications
MBA or CPA a plus Financial tools Hyperion, Oracle, Power BI, SAP a plus Salary
Minimum Salary: $99,100 Maximum Salary: $188,300 The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
