Base pay range: $84,158.00/yr - $93,509.00/yr

Job Summary The Senior Staff Accountant will facilitate the day-to-day accounting functions in the areas of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashflow/banking, and other accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities Record financial transactions, post journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Review and process Sales and Use Tax reporting. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain and update fixed asset registers. Manage corporate credit cards and process payments. Provide support to accounts payable. Monitor the collection of accounts receivable and assist with processing payments. Assist with annual external audits. Assist in budgeting process. Process payroll. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Support the Director of Finance with special projects or other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience. Five years’ relevant accounting experience. Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. Strong computer skills, including with MS Office Suite. Highly organized; ability to handle several projects concurrently and to work in a team environment. Ability to summarize data and analyze results. Demonstrated attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing industry experience. Working knowledge of payroll accounting. ERP system experience (Infor).

Physical Demands Must be able to perform sedentary work, including sitting for extended periods of time.

Ability to periodically stand, walk, crouch, stoop, bend and reach across all planes.

Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment for extended periods of time.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance, vision, and ability to adjust focus.

May be required to lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, 0 - 10% of time.
