Overview:
We are looking for a Controls Engineer to support automated manufacturing lines for Class II/III medical devices. The role focuses on PLC programming, motion control, vision systems, and validation in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) PLC, motion, and HMI programs
Design and support vision systems (Cognex / Keyence) for inspection and quality checks
Perform IQ/OQ/PQ validation per FDA and ISO 13485 requirements
Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and cycle time
Support root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, validation, and engineering teams
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, or related field
5+ years of controls engineering experience
Strong experience with Rockwell PLCs, Motion Control, and HMI
Hands‑on experience with Cognex or Keyence vision systems
Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ validation in regulated environments
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
